Downtown Digital Arts Festival 2009 Announces Jazz Performers

May 27, 2009 - The Downtown Digital Arts Festival, 2009, is proud to present the Ft. Hayes Arts and Academic High School Jazz Band under the direction of Jeff McCargish as the performers for the Awards Gala to be held Thursday, June 4, beginning at 6:00 PM. The location of the gala is 315 Cleveland Avenue, fourth floor ballroom, on the campus of the Columbus State Community College. The event is open and free to the public. The theme for the awards gala is “All that Digital Jazz”.
Student digital art will be recognized for excellence in:
• Digital Design
• Digital Photography
• Video
• Interactive Media/Web
The Downtown Digital Arts Festival (DDAF) is held annually on the main campus of the Columbus State Community College, located in Columbus, Ohio. DDAF is a celebration of excellence in digitally created art and design. Judged entries will be displayed from Tuesday, June 2 through Thursday, June 4, 2009. Awards will be presented at a gala on Thursday evening, June 4.

April 30, 2009 - Entries are now being accepted from students who have created digital art in the following categories for the Downtown Digital Arts Festival, 2009:

• Digital Photography
• Video
