Study Abroad in Mexico -- 2010
 

Two weeks: July 24 - August 7 Four weeks: July 24 - August 21


Registration information: Students can sign up for the TWO-week program to earn 2-3 credits or the FOUR-week program to earn up to 5 credits. There is no language prerequisite for this program. Once in Cuernavaca, students will be placed into an appropriate level for their skill. So you can participate even if you have never studied Spanish before!

Program costs:
$1955 .00* for the two-week program.
$2810 .00* for the four-week program.

These prices include:

  • Round-trip airfare from Columbus to Mexico City.

  • Ground transportation between Mexico City and Cuernavaca (round trip).

  • Full room and board in the home of a Mexican host-family.

  • Supplemental health insurance.

  • Classes at Cemanahuac (4 hrs. daily)

  • A limited number of field trips.

Note: The price does NOT include Columbus State course tuition.

Deadline for Application: April 30, 2010
Applications are available from Department of Modern Languages (Franklin Hall 221) and must be accompanied by a $40 application fee.

Eligibility Requirements: To be accepted you must:
  • Be a registered student at CSCC and be enrolled in an appropriate Spanish credit course, based on level of competency, in Summer Quarter, 2008.

  • Have completed the application process for the study abroad program.

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Have a valid U.S. Passport.
