In-Person Tutoring: Appointments, Drop-Ins, Quick Drop-In Math Lab
Tutoring is available at our Columbus and Delaware Campuses and at the Dublin and Westerville Regional Learning Centers.
Appointments, all subjects: One-to-one and small group (2 - 3 students) in-person tutoring is available by appointment for the subjects listed on the alphabetical list below. Find the subject, choose your preferred campus or RLC, and click "Schedule Appointment" or click the name of a tutor who covers the subject or course in which you are seeking support and select "Schedule Appointment" to go to that tutor's calendar. Follow the prompts to schedule. Or, log in to Blackboard, select "Tools" from the menu column on the left, and then select the box labeled "Tutoring: In-person (CSCC)," and continue from the website.
Important Note: To ensure that all students have an opportunity to schedule meetings with tutors, students may make one appointment per subject per day. Students with documented learning accommodations may make appointments for extended time if needed. Please contact the Tutoring Center at 614-287-3952 or stop by the Tutoring Center in the Columbus campus library, CO 103, to arrange extended time if you have learning accommodations.
Drop-Ins, all subjects-- No appointment needed: In-person drop-in meetings are available without appointments on a first-come, first-served basis when tutors have open times. Follow the links in the list of subjects below to see tutors' hours or visit the Tutoring Center in the library (CO 103) on the Columbus campus or in Moeller Hall on the Delaware campus to see if tutors are available. Please keep in mind that tutors are not guaranteed to be immediately available at all times. Wait times will depend on the number of students waiting to work with a tutor.
Small-group sessions, all subjects: Tutors can meet with a few students from the same class in shared small-group sessions. Students can pre-arrange a small group meeting or visit the Tutoring Center in the library (CO 103) [Columbus campus] or the tutoring area in Moeller Hall [Delaware campus] to see if small groups are in session.
Quick Drop-In Math Lab, College Algebra & above + Statistics: (Columbus campus, Library, CO 105): Students can visit the quick drop-in Math Lab for short 15-20 minute consultations with a math or statistics tutor, no appointment needed. Tutors circulate around the lab, spending a few minutes with each student. The drop-in lab is appropriate for questions about one or two homework problems or to review a specific concept, not for extended tutoring. For more in-depth questions and review, please schedule an appointment for a longer one-to-one or small group session. See the Quick Drop-in Lab schedules in the Mathematics and Statistics listings on the chart below.

Student-Led Tutoring
Peer Tutoring
Peer tutors provide support for specific classes throughout the semester in one-to-one scheduled and drop-in appointments and small group meetings. Peer tutors' hours are included in the tutors' calendars for the subjects listed in the table above.
Supplemental Instruction
The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program gives students the benefits of learning from an SI Leader - a peer student who has already completed the course successfully. The SI Leader attends all class lectures, takes notes, reads assigned texts, and holds study groups outside of class time to review course concepts, provide study assistance, and facilitate learning in a group setting. Typically, The SI Leader meets with students 2-3 times per week for 50-minute sessions.
To find out if your course offers Supplemental Instruction, go to the Supplemental Instruction page, ask your course instructor, or contact the Tutoring Center at 614-287-3952
