real estate sales professionals, nearly 2,500 licensed real estate
appraisers, and less than 700 practicing home inspectors. That leaves a
great deal of work for a small number of inspectors. Is this career for you? While real estate inspection is an attractive career field, is it for
you? Property inspection is a technical and complex field that requires
expert skills and a professional approach. Home inspectors must recognize conditions that could cause problems for the potential home owner. They need extensive knowledge in many areas such as soil and foundations, wood and construction, roofing, plumbing, electricity and ventilation, swimming pools and spas, termites, radon and mold.
