I-71 - I-670 Construction and Ramp Closures

ODOT Update May 16: WORK FOR THE NEXT TWO NIGHTS ON 71/670

THURSDAY, MAY 16– (NEW)

At 8 p.m., the ramp from I-670 west to I-71 south will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

The ramp from Jack Gibbs Blvd. to I-670 west will also be closed.

At 9 p.m., the ramp from I-670 east to I-71 south will close. Traffic will be detoured to I-670 east to Leonard Ave. to I-670 east to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

The ramp from 11th Ave. to I-71 south will also close.

At 9 p.m., I-71 south will be reduced to one lane.

At 10 p.m., I-71 south will be forced to exit to I-670 west to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

The closures (above) are necessary for bridge work.

At 11 p.m., I-670 east will be reduced to one lane between Cleveland Ave. and I-71 for guardrail repair.

By 3 a.m., FRIDAY, both lanes of I-670 east will be open.

By 5 a.m., FRIDAY all ramps will be open and two lanes will be maintained on I-71 and I-670.

(NOTE) FRIDAY May, 17 – The only closures will be three ramps. There will no lanes closed or restricted on I-71 or I-670.

At 8 p.m., the ramp from I-670 west to I-71 south will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

The ramp from Jack Gibbs Blvd. to I-670 west will also be closed.

At 9 p.m., the ramp from I-670 east to I-71 south will close. Traffic will be detoured to I-670 east to Leonard Ave. to I-670 east to SR 315 south to I-71 south.

By 5 a.m. SATURDAY, all three ramps will be open.
