No special application is needed to enroll in the Facilities Maintenance Associate Degree program or our Skilled Trades certificate programs.
Simply follow the normal college application process as described in the Get Started Guide. Columbus State does not charge an application fee, although there is a $50 fee when you register for the first time. Columbus State is an open enrollment school. Once you have completed the application, you will need to take the College Placement Exam, which will enable us to determine a starting point suited specifically for you. ACT scores no more than two years old can be used in place of the College Placement Exam.
Please schedule a meeting with one of our Academic Advisors within the Skilled Trades program to help you with your plan of study.
