Application for the Traditional Track and Online Track (RN)

Prospective and In-coming transfer students should first follow the Get Started Guide to get enroll at Columbus State and then follow the guidelines below. You may also click here for a printable checklist to assist you in getting started in Nursing at Columbus State.

Applicants for admission from another RN preparation program who have completed Nursing clinical courses should contact the Columbus State Nursing Program to obtain Nursing Procedure for Transfer Students. Contact the program at 287-2506 or 2606.

Current students: Students who have completed application to Columbus State and have taken placement tests or have had their transfer credit evaluated should follow the guidelines below

• Are you ready to apply to Nursing? Apply only if you have completed all admission requirements.
• To make an appointment with an Academic Advisor call 287-5353
• Check application dates. (see below)

Nursing Program Applications Dates:

The Nursing Program will take applications for both the Traditional Track and Online Track Spring 2014 Classes beginning at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, April 1, 2013.   The application period will close on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. Completion of a Nursing Information Session is required to obtain an application.

The following Information Sessions have been scheduled for Spring Semester.

Friday, January 25, 2013                 9-11 A.M.           FR 104

Monday, February 11, 2013             9-11 A.M.         NH Auditorium

Thursday, February 21, 2013           3-5   P.M.           FR 104

You do not need to register in advance.  

Seating is limited to 50 students. After reaching capacity and/or arrival past the start time will result in the student having to attend a future session.
