An IT Frontliner is very much like a Departmental Lab Assistant where as we assist Educators, Learners, and Staff with basic hardware and software application needs.

IT Frontliner’s have additional responsibilities that require group collaboration on projects that encompass a diverse range of talent and knowledge. Personnel from the IT Frontliner group include individuals from various majors here at Columbus State and hail from across the globe, making our work group one of the most diverse teams on campus.

The IT Frontliners come from all across the globe to seamlessly form the professional team that exists today. They are from such counties as USA, Belarus, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and many more. To know more about the country of your interest click on the flag

IT Frontliners provide Educators, Learners, and Staff with support in a variety of labs throughout campus by:

• Assisting Educators, Learners, and Staff with basic software related issues.
• Provide assistance with Cougar Web and Black Board.
• General assistance in labs when needed.
• Assure both the labs and the equipment are functional and in proper working order.
• Troubleshoot immediate Hardware problems.
• Additional duties based on skill or experience is optional.
