Spring Street
Spring Street is Columbus State's literary magazine; it features poetry, fiction, non-fiction, sketches, photography, and other visual arts submitted by the Columbus State Community: students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Spring Street is published annually and is produced from beginning (soliciting literature and art) to end (layout and design) by students who take ENGL 215 and ENGL 280.
What makes Spring Street unique? The staff is committed to publishing 80% student literature and art, and only 20% faculty, staff, and alumni literature and art.
Spring Street is sold in the bookstore for $3.00. For further information about submissions or about joining the staff of Spring Street, contact Steve Abbott, faculty advisor.

How to Become a Member of the Spring Street Staff:
Prospective students should have skills and/or interests in any of the following areas: creative writing, editing, literature, literary criticism, layout and design, project management, typing, proofreading, computer use (especially Aldus PageMaker and Adobe Photoshop) and graphic communication.
Spring Street needs skills and/or interest, not genius!

Include your address, phone number, and the best time to reach you.
