Visitors – Visitor parking is designated with parking meters (coins only) on the Columbus campus in parking lots 6-E, 7-E, 9-E, 11-S, and behind the bookstore. Remember to check it frequently. If no parking meters are available, stop by the Police Department Communications Center in Delaware Hall and request a temporary permit. The permit should be placed in your vehicle immediately. NOTE: Students and employees are not visitors and may be cited. Street parking may also be available at municipal meters. Park in a student lot (designated with an “S”) while going to get a visitor permit.
Obtaining Visitor Parking Permit – Temporary permits may be received at the Police Department Communications Center in Delaware Hall. You must show your valid driver’s license to receive a permit. You will receive an orange temporary hang tag to place on your rear view mirror, with the information facing the windshield. At the Delaware campus, go to the front desk and call Public Safety at 740-203-8083 and request a visitor parking permit.
Online Visitor Permits – If you are mailed a temporary visitor permit for a meeting, place the permit facing up on the front dashboard of your car on the driver’s side IN PLAIN VIEW. Failure to do so may result in a citation. Visitor permits may NOT be used by students or employees of CSCC. These permits do NOT grant parking at visitor parking meters.
