Cougars Cheerleading

Thank you for your interest in cheerleading at Columbus State Community College! Whether you are a prospective cheerleading candidate, a current cheerleader, a former cheerleader, or just a fan of CSCC, we're glad you found us!

The cougar cheerleaders can be seen all around campus cheering at Men's and Women's basketball games and other CSCC events!

CLINIC / TRYOUT INFORMATION:

Cheerleading tryouts are getting closer! Clinics begin on May 30 (8-10)PM , May 31 (8-10)PM, June 1(5-8)PM final clinic with tryouts on June 2 (5-8)PM . All participants must attend at least 2 clinics. Bonus points will be given for all those attending all three clinics. All forms from the athletic department must be filled out prior to tryouts with the exception of the physical which must be completed and turned in by June 15th.

All participants should have strong dance skills,a standing back handspring or a round off back handspring and some cheer experience for maximum tryout points. Work out clothes should be worn to all sessions to include athletic shoes.
