Registration periods adjusted for system upgrade
A system upgrade will take CougarWeb and other student information systems offline for a short period, affecting several processes, including Summer Semester 2017 registration.
The following services will be unavailable from Wednesday, April 19, at 5:00 p.m., to Monday, April 24, at 10:00 a.m.
- Summer Semester 2017 registration
- Fee payment
- Degree audit reports
- Placement testing
- Parking passes
- Cougar IDs
All services will resume on Monday, April 24, at 10:00 a.m. except Summer Semester 2017 web registration, which will become available on Wednesday, April 26, at 8:00 a.m.
(Students may register for Summer Semester 2017 in person and by phone only, starting Monday, April 24.)
Blackboard, academic testing, email, and the college website will remain available during the system upgrade. Transcript requests may be made but will not be processed immediately.
Please note: All Columbus State offices are closed for In-Service Day on Thursday, April 20. Offices reopen on Friday, April 21, but will not be able to process requests for the above services, due to the unavailability of student data.
Also due to the system upgrade, Autumn Semester 2017 registration has been adjusted to begin on Monday, May 8.
