Two upcoming events will emphasize mental health resources and counseling for Columbus State students and the wider community.
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Columbus State will hold its inaugural Mental Health Fair in the Nestor Hall lounges. This event is open to the entire community, and is intended to provide students, staff and faculty with resources and organizations that can assist with a variety of mental health concerns.
The Mental Health Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Nestor Hall lounges.
The next day, Thursday, Oct. 10, will see free mental health screenings in the Nestor Hall lounges. That event is co-sponsored by Student Engagement and Leadership and the department of Social & Human Services.
