Cutover Weekend

CougarWeb Outage August 25-26

CougarWeb will be unavailable the weekend of Aug. 25-26, following the fee payment deadline on Friday, August 24.

The system will be unavailable beginning at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 through the weekend. It is scheduled to be back up at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27.

Students will be unable to register for classes during this time period. NO REGISTRATION ACTIVITY of any kind will occur during this system outage. This includes students who are dropped for nonpayment as well as students picking up a new class. In addition, prospective students will not be able to apply to the college that weekend.

"Cutover Weekend" is occurring at this time to allow the college to make necessary updates to students’ academic histories as we switch from quarters to semesters (including summer quarter grades).

To accommodate students, Columbus State Student Services will remain open until 7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24. Those offices/departments will be closed for the remainder of the weekend and reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27.

Students will be able to log on to Blackboard throughout the weekend, although Autumn Semester course content will not be available until Monday morning at 8:00 a.m.

Bookstore	Rush hours: Friday, Aug. 24, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 8:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Customers will not be able to place online orders with financial aid. The website will continue to accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards during this period.
Cashiers and Student Accounting	Open until 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 closed Saturday, Sunday. Students can pay on the web via CougarWeb until 8:30 p.m. Friday
Financial Aid	Open until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 closed Saturday, Sunday
