Career Services offers student mentorship program
If you would like to play a role in the success of a Columbus State student, consider becoming a mentor. Career Services’ Mentorship Program is designed to provide students with a formal channel to develop relationships with professionals who work in their field of interest.
As a mentor, you will share your experiences, insights, and advice; highlight the daily activities, challenges, and requirements of your profession; enhance your coaching and leadership skills; and help students grow and make progress.
Mentors commit to meeting with their mentees at least once a month during the duration of the academic year. Although Career Services only requires a one-year commitment, it is hoped that mentors will recommit each year.
If you would like to learn more about this valuable student program, contact Diane Higginbotham in Career Services.
