Fresh Start Rule Petition

The Fresh Start Rule Petition is a process that will allow students who meet the requirements to have certain grades changed to a "Z" status from "E", or "D". This process changes the grade only. The number of credit hours attempted is not changed.

To petition for the Fresh Start Rule you must meet the criteria listed on the Fresh Start Rule Information sheet which is a part of the form. If you meet the criteria you must then complete the Fresh Start Rule form which is linked above, and submit the form to the Records and Registration Department, Madison Hall Room 201, Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon).
