ARTICLE IV: OFFICERS OF RHO OMEGA PI CHAPTER
- QUALIFICATION AND ELIGIBILITY
- The positions of officers of the RHO OMEGA PI Chapter shall be that of President, Vice
President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms and
Public Relations.
- To be eligible to hold an Executive position in the RHO OMEGA PI Chapter at least one
year attendance in a Columbus State Community College Criminal
Justice or Legal Studies
Program is required. An officer must be either a full-time or part-time student or a graduate
of the aforementioned programs of study.
- DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS
- The officers of RHO OMEGA PI Chapter shall follow the duties listed in the Grand Chapter
and carry them out to the best of their ability as an elected
officer into their position.
- It shall be the duty of the Faculty Advisor to appoint a Pro Tem Official for the months of any
academic quarter, if any elected official is unable to
maintain their position for that specified
quarter.
- ELECTION OF OFFICERS
- Elections for the RHO OMEGA PI Chapter officers shall take place in March of each year
and the newly elected officers shall assume their positions at
that time so that they may
become accustomed to their positions before the end of the regular school term.
- A list of qualified individuals, voluntarily seeking election to each position will be prepared
by the Faculty Committee. Said candidates will
have one (1) week to prepare a one (1) page
short biographical history and statement as to why they should be elected. Upon a majority
motion of the RHO OMEGA PI
Chapter Spring Quarter meeting a Candidates Statement
meeting may be specified.
