The Student Activities Office is responsible for the development and coordination of intercollegiate athletics at Columbus State. The Student Activities/Athletics office is located in Delaware Hall, Room 134, (614) 287-3656 .
All of the athletic teams hold open tryouts prior to the beginning of the season. Tryouts are held during autumn quarter, with the exception of men's cross country, women's cross country, golf, men's soccer, and women's volleyball, which are held during summer quarter.
Students who intend to participate in athletics must:
Columbus State adheres to the guidelines established by, and is a member of, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Columbus State participates in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC).
Athletic scholarships are available for student athletes playing men's and women's basketball. All other sports are non-scholarship.
