In March of 2006, the CDC moved into a brand new facility of over 24,000 square feet.

The Facility: The new building houses 2 infant, 3 toddler and 3 preschool rooms. It also has three indoor muscle rooms for each age category, a parent-teacher resource room, art studio, and a staff lounge. There are three administrative offices and a large reception area just inside the entrance.

A 10,800 square foot playground wraps around the outside of the building and the space is divided between infants and toddlers and preschoolers.

Dedication to quality: The CDC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and has earned a Three Star rating from Ohio’s Step Up to Quality initiative.

Teachers are required to have at least an associate’s degree and participate in on-going professional development.

Providing a rich learning environment, listening to and observing children, purposeful planning, meaningful experiences that are documented and revisited, collaboration with others (including parents) are core values at the CDC.

Hours: The CDC is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., year-round.

Enrollment: Children from six weeks to five years old are welcome to enroll.

We are currently taking applications for toddlers and preschoolers for summer and fall enrollment.

Contact: For more information, call (614) 287-3600.
