Spring is coming – bike to campus!
Spring is around the corner, gas prices are going up, and parking can be hard to find. Sounds like a good time to start bicycling!
If you want to join Columbus State employees and students in biking for commuting, errands, fitness and fun, join the Cougar Cranks for a planning meeting March 15 at 10 a.m.. The location is to be determined so register your interest here to receive a follow-up email with room number and additional information.

Employee Service Awards to be awarded at Spring In-Service Day!
This year's Service Awards recognition will be held during the Spring In-Service day program, April 22.
A list of those employees eligible for Service Awards this year is now available on the Human Resources home page under “HR Updates.” You will find a list for full-time employees and part-time employees eligible for an award for their service through December 31, 2010. Please review the Employee Service Awards list and email any corrections or questions you may have to serviceawards@cscc.edu.
HR reviewed previous years of service to calculate number of pays and reviewed past service award listings. For an employee to be eligible for an award, the following criteria must be met:

Employee must be consistently employed with the College;
-
No more than a 30-day break in service;
-
The employee has received 120 or more pays;
-
The employee must be currently employed and working for the College; and
-
Last pay date considered was December 31, 2010.

According to Policy 15-01, section F(2), "Accounts and passwords may not, under any circumstances, be shared with, or used by, persons other than those to whom they have been assigned by the college."
Colleague, specifically, contains personally identifiable information. If you share your Colleague user name and password or log in for someone so they can use your Colleague access, you may be allowing others to see sensitive information where they may not normally if logged in as themselves.
