Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Welcome to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, this program is for you. You can be a member of the newest generation of EMTs and Paramedics. If you’re new to EMS, start with exploring the information about our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate. All paramedics must be EMTs first - it is the initial step in your EMS training journey.
Our EMS programs are designed to allow you to obtain an EMS certification prior to obtaining your associate degree. While a certification as an EMT or Firefighter allows you to start working right away, an EMS or Fire Science degree helps with initial hiring and promotional opportunities in the public safety field.
