A "dry" Jazz in July!
Mini Grants awarded for 2008The Mini-Grant Selection Committee for FY 2008 recently selected 13 projects from the record 46 submitted for the upcoming year. According to Matt Kelly, executive director of the Development Foundation, the committee had a difficult time deciding which submissions to fund with the $75,000 budget. The committee took into account the project's impact on students, the number of students involved in the project, the overall benefit to the College and the community as well as budgeting items within the projects.
The following projects were awarded mini-grants for 2008:
Congratulations to all faculty, staff and administrators whose projects were selected for 2008 Mini Grants!
The Columbus State Development Foundation will work with the CSCC Business Office to establish project accounts for each of the funded projects. Funding must be spent in Fiscal Year '08 and there is no extension or carryover of funding into the next fiscal year.
For projects not approved in this round, the committee has supplied the Development Foundation with comments on why the project did not receive funding. Please contact this office if you are interested in the committee's comments.
