SBDC announces Ohio Growth Summit 2006

The Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Columbus State has set the date for the annual Ohio Growth Summit for June 13, 2006.

Through a mix of national keynote speakers and local breakout presenters, the Ohio Growth Summit provides a unique variety of learning options to business owners interested in growth. The Summit is designed to stimulate actions that will lead to increased growth of your business. The Summit is also designed to foster meaningful networking among attendees that will increase your bottom line.  

Keynote speakers for the 2006 Summit include:

Susan RoAne,, the nation's undisputed and original networking expert, will teach you how to connect and communicate. Based on her international best-seller How to Work a Room , RoAne will show you practical techniques that will allow you to:

• Maximize events with rooms full of strangers.

• Approach people to start, maintain and end conversations - graciously.

• Prepare strategies in order to increase comfort, confidence and productivity.

Bookstore announces holiday hours

The Bookstore will be observing the same holiday hours as the Cashier's Office and Records and Registration. The hours are Saturday, December 24, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and December 31, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
