Summer 2012 at Columbus State

Finish Sequences Now

Many students are taking an extra class to finish up before the Switch 2 Semesters hits this fall. Semesters are longer than quarters, so multi-quarter class sequences may be disrupted. It's a good idea to finish up those sequences if you can.

The Shorter Quarter

Summer Quarter is only nine weeks, instead of the usual 11, in order to accommodate the Switch 2 Semesters.

Ohio State and Ohio U Students (and students from other colleges)

Because Summer Quarter is shorter, you'll be able to take a Columbus State class and get back to your home college before Autumn starts. Columbus State is a great place to take general ed classes like Math or Science. Or, if you're just starting at a four-year school, take classes here to get a jump on your studies. We feature small classes and the lowest tuition price in the region.

More importantly, Summer at Columbus State is your last chance for quarters. If you have a quarter sequence to finish up, look to us.

Switch 2 Semesters

Columbus State switches to semesters with Autumn Semester 2012. If you are a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours), you'll have to schedule an additional class or two to meet full-time status because many semester courses earn fewer hours of credit. Take more to be sure you stay on track.
