Writing Center presents “Making Your Research Paper Interesting”
The Writing Center will offer a special workshop for students who want to learn how to write a compelling research paper, a skill we should all acquire to do well in college! “Making Your Research Paper Interesting” will be held on Wednesday, May 6, from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in Davidson Hall Room 201.

Many students become bored researching a large paper, and this shows in their writing. Do you want to write something people (professors!) will want to read? The more interesting your paper is, the more likely people are going to take your ideas seriously. You can learn the skills necessary to take your paper to the next level, such as:

This session will help you develop your skills in creating and maintaining your audience's interest in your paper, as well as teach you specific ways to use emotion correctly throughout a research essay. Don't make guesses about how to make your paper better—attend this session and learn how the best writers do it!
