High School Transcripts

Submitting a final official high school transcript is highly encouraged!

Final official high school transcripts may be used for course placement and are required by some selective admissions programs and scholarships. A high school education, or equivalent, is required to receive federal financial aid.

To be final and official, a transcript should include the student's graduation date, and be issued by or sent from an official source. Students who have graduated from high school should request that their high school send their transcript to Columbus State as soon as possible. Students preparing to graduate from high school should talk to their high school counselor and request that their official, final transcript be sent to Columbus State as soon as they have officially graduated.

Options for Submitting Transcripts

Columbus State receives transcripts electronically through the following third-party services: Credentials, National Student Clearinghouse, Naviance, Parchment, SchooLinks, Scribonline (Scribbles). To request a transcript using electronic delivery:

  • Contact your high school/district and ask which third-party service they use
  • Through that service’s website, request that the transcript be sent to Columbus State Community College at this email address: highschooltranscript@cscc.edu.

Please note: We cannot accept transcripts sent from a student or personal email account. Documents must come directly from an official source.

If electronic delivery is not possible, transcripts can be sent from the school or third-party service through U.S. Mail to:

Columbus State Community College
ATTN: High School Transcripts
550 East Spring Street
Columbus, OH 43215

Please note: Transcripts must be received in an original, sealed envelope from the issuing school or third-party service to be considered official.

Transcripts in an original, sealed envelope from the issuing school or third-party service can be delivered in-person to the following locations during business hours:

  • Columbus Campus: Student Central, Upper Level, Madison Hall
  • Delaware Campus: Student Services, Moeller Hall

Please note: Final transcripts must include the student's graduation date. If delivering a copy in-person, please make sure to communicate that with your school ahead of time since the envelope will be sealed.
