Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

We ask that children arrive by 10 a.m. and that parents return no later than 5:45 for pick-up, to allow transition time and interaction with the classroom teachers.

The Center is closed on all holidays observed by Columbus State Community College, as well as In-Service Days

Location

The Center is located on Columbus State’s campus downtown, directly behind the Discovery Exchange/Bookstore building.

From the North: Take I-71 South to the Spring Street exit, which exits on the left side of the highway. Go right on Spring Street and continue to Cleveland Ave. Turn left onto Cleveland Ave and continue to Mt. Vernon Ave. Turn left onto Mt. Vernon Ave (the Discover Exchange Building is on the corner of Cleveland & Mt. Vernon). The first street behind the Discovery Exchange building is Grant. Take a right and the Child Development Center will be on your immediate right, with parking available beside the entrance.

From the South: Take I-71 North, to the Broad Street exit. Go left on Broad Street to the first street on the right (Jefferson Avenue.) Turn right onto Jefferson Avenue, and follow Jefferson Ave. across Long. Turn left onto Spring Street and continue to Cleveland Ave. Turn right onto Cleveland Ave and continue to Mt. Vernon Ave. Turn left onto Mt. Vernon Ave (the Discover Exchange Building is on the corner of Cleveland & Mt. Vernon). The first street behind the Discovery Exchange building is Grant.
