Our Commitment to Affordability

At the Columbus State, we offer many different options and programs to help our students find the most affordable course material options.

Textbook affordability

In addition to finding ways to save you money, the Bookstore is here to make sure you receive the right course materials to help you succeed at Columbus State. That can’t always be said of our online competitors. If you buy it from us, you can be assured to have the correct material for your class. We offer top notch customer service!

Discounted Software

The Columbus State Bookstore offers academic versions of popular software titles, which saves students money:

  • Microsoft Office 365 Academic Version, 4 Year Subscription for $79.99

Please note: academic and student licensed software is intended for educational purposes only and may require online verification of student status to activate license.

Used Books

The Columbus State Bookstore orders used books through multiple wholesalers, trying to stock as many used books as we possibly can. Supply can be limited for newer titles, but if it’s out there as a used book, we are going to do our best to get it for you. Used books are typically priced 25% - 30% lower than their new book counterparts. This helps to pass savings along to our customers! You can’t go wrong with used books, and coupled with our competitive buyback program (which offers a rate based on new book prices) you are sure to save big!
