Columbus State always strives to bring learning opportunities to the Central Ohio community, but Looking at Jazz is something unique.
Looking at Jazz is a series of six weekly celebrations of jazz at Columbus State Community College. It meets on Thursdays, April 19-May 17 (and one Saturday afternoon program for kids May 12). Each weekly program includes a short film followed by a discussion or performance led by a special guest (usually a jazz historian or musician).
The Columbus State event ties into the national Looking at Jazz program, presented by the American Library Association.
This event is free and open to the public.
