It is a valuable pre-screening tool for job candidates, ensuring that an individual is ready to enter the workforce.
TechReady is a powerful tool to measure the competencies of current employees, helping human resource managers and other hiring managers properly determine the training needs of employees. The assessment is 70 questions in length, 10 from each competency area. Both an aggregate score and individual scores for each of the seven competency areas are immediately generated at the conclusion of the assessment.
Administration
The TechReady Assessment is conveniently administered via a secure internet connection on any computer with minimal setup and system requirements. It can be taken individually in a corporate or home setting, or administered to a group where multiple computers are available.
Designed to measure the skill level of job applicants and employees
Both job applicants and employees working in today’s workforce need to possess a basic level of knowledge in Information Technology before employment, job training and advancement. The TechReady Assessment is a powerful, convenient, and economical stand-alone tool that accurately measures an individual’s competency in 7 basic key areas. It is also the initial phase of ICDL’s comprehensive certification program of basic computer skills. Individuals who perform well on the TechReady Assessment are ideal candidates to pursue their ICDL certification, which is recognized around the world. Individuals with lower TechReady scores are encouraged to pursue ICDL certification. They, too, can then develop the skills necessary to be successful in the today’s digital workforce.
- 70 questions, validated with the ICDL certification program
