Forensic Science Program
WHO KILLED MR BODDY? Is a two-part forensic science exercise. Was it Green, Scarlett, Mustard, or Brown? Both parts must be completed to solve the mystery.
PART 1: Powder residue was found at the scene of Mr. Boddy’s murder. Can you use a flow chart and simple chemical tests to determine the identity of this powder?
PART II: Students gather clues from the crime scene in the computer laboratory.
Young detectives then participate in a blood-typing exercise to determine the A-B-O blood types of Mr.Boddy and all of the suspects. Finally, use of DNA blots and fingerprints allows you to determine “WHO KILLED MR. BODDY?”
