Any otherwise qualified student or prospective student
who states that he or she has a disability as defined under the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) or the guidelines for Section 504 of the Federal
Rehabilitation Act may register with the department. The college's Placement Test
(COMPASS or ASSET) will be administered with accommodations as requested by the
prospective student.
To register for department services a student or
prospective student must meet with the department counselor for an interview (Application
for Services). An Intake Counselor is available from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday
through Thursday and 8:30-4:00 on Friday in Franklin Hall, Room 228. Evening hours available by appointment
only.
