Proficiencies
Proficiencies are available for eight courses in
Computer Information Technology. These
proficiencies, if passed, will give the student
non-transferable credit. A student can take a
course proficiency one time only and there is no appeal
available. Written tests must be passed with 75%
and hands-on tests are pass/fail.
Students must pay a $50.00 fee at the Cashier's
Office in Rhodes Hall before they can take a proficiency
test. Proof of this payment is required before a
student may sit for the test(s). Please make
arrangements for testing through the contact person
below, except for CIT 101. The
Testing Center
administers tests for CIT 101 (PC Applications 1), and
you can take the test during its open hours. There is a two-hour time limit.
Below is a list of courses that offer proficiencies,
the form of the test and the person responsible for the
test(s).
