Architecture
students who graduate from CSCC obtain employment (often
well before graduation) in a variety of environs.
Most go to architectural firms, but many find
positions in engineering firms, or with builders,
developers, product manufacturers, retailers, and other
industry related areas.
Opportunities
include computer aided drafting (CAD) positions (where
graduates of most programs begin, whether from 2, 4, 5, or 6
year programs), project managers, field
representatives, drafters and consultants.
Average
starting salaries can range from $20,000 to $26,000 per year
depending upon the firm. Depending upon the position and
experience level technicians can earn $30,000+ per year.
