Small Business Development Center
We are the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Columbus State Community College, a public - private partnership supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Ohio Department of Development, Columbus State Community College and local partners. Through our programs and services, we provide entrepreneurial development assistance and high-end business consulting to start-up and emerging business owners free of charge.
Our reach extends nine counties including Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties.
We have been recognized for excellence in service and innovation. In 2008 we were named the winner of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Service Excellence and Innovation Center Award for both the State of Ohio and a five state region, named Top SBDC in Ohio for performance by the State of Ohio, and our Regional Director, Michael Bowers, was named "State Star" by the National Association of Small Business Development Centers. These awards show our commitment to helping you achieve your goals as a business owner.
The bottom line? Anytime you need to make the right call for your business, your first call is to the Small Business Development Center.
