CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

Earn a certificate to get the credentials you need to move up in your present job – or start a new career.


CISCO Academy

This course teaches students the basics of computer network systems. It prepares them to sit for the Cisco Certification Exam for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).  Courses also include Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and CompTIA A+.


International Computer Driving License (ICDL)

The ICDL is a basic computer skills training and certification program. 
The certification shows candidates have show proficiency in 7 areas:

  • Concepts of Information Technology
  • Using the Computer and Managing Files
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheets and Databases
  • Presentations
  • Information and Communication

Serv-Safe Certification

This certificate trains you in health and safety procedures for the food, lodging and health care industries. Topics include control of bacteria, materials handling and other safety practices. Please note that this program satisfies Ohio House Bill 223.

Training & Development Certificate

This certificate program is a series of three credit courses designed to assist the individual in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to function in the role of a training professional.  Topics include assessment, analysis and evaluation; instruct-ional design and development; and training delivery skills.  The student may pursue the certificate or take a single course.

TIPS Alcohol Server Certification (TMT-104)

Aimed at restaurant and bar workers, This program trains servers to recognize signs of intoxication and maintain control of the environment.
