Recreations hours-Delaware Hall Gymnasium

Columbus State Community College offers a wide variety of courses at convenient times throughout the year to aid in the development of our community. Keeping with that theme The Department of Student Activities and Athletics at Columbus State has open gym/recreation hours, a fitness center and aerobics classes for faculty, staff and students. We encourage the use of our facilities and classes to help promote healthier life-styles.

ID POLICY: All participants in Wellness programs, Open Gym, and the Fitness Center must have a current Columbus State ID card.

Fitness Center Hours-Delaware Hall
8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday – Thursday
8:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday

LOCKER RENTAL POLICIES: Rental fees are $5.00 per quarter or $15.00 for the year. Fees must be paid in the cashiers office. Bring receipt to the Fitness Center in Delaware Hall.

Intramurals
Intramural activities provide the campus community the opportunity to compete in various athletic events with out the time commitment of varsity athletics. All faculty, staff and students are eligible to compete with a Columbus State ID.

3 on 3 Co-ed Basketball:
November 5th, 19th, and 26th
12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM.
Entry deadline is October 30.

4 on 4 Soccer:
November 1st, 8th, and 15th
12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM.
Entry deadline is October 26.
SIGN- UP: To sign up come to Delaware Hall Athletic Center Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 pm and see the gym attendant or call 287-5348.

Wellness
What is Wellness?
Wellness is an integration of body, mind and spirit to produce a balanced lifestyle. It promotes a sense of becoming, changing, improving and growing. Wellness is achieved by practicing good health habits and eliminating harmful ones. Wellness programming at CSCC attempts to offer opportunities to create a balance in the life of students, faculty and staff. Typical wellness offerings include: pilates, self defense, yoga, belly dancing, tae kwon do and other educational seminars.
