Overview

Columbus State Community College is undertaking a major initiative to enhance the college’s ability to hire and retain high-quality employees and to responsibly serve our students and the community. With the assistance of independent consulting firm Fox Lawson & Associates LLC, the college is reviewing its compensation delivery and performance evaluation systems to ensure that they meet the needs of the college and align with the current marketplace. The college has established a Compensation Review Committee, which includes nine representatives from across campus, to participate in and help guide the process throughout the duration of the project.

After completing a study of the system, Fox Lawson & Associates will recommend and assist in developing a new compensation system, including a review and design of pay ranges (grades), position slotting into the new system, and a performance appraisal system that is congruent with any new compensation delivery method.
