Theatre Columbus State searches for
Intelligent Life in the Universe
Special guest artist Cate Blair-Wilhelm takes
on Lily Tomlin's award-winning theatrical
experience The Search for Signs of
Intelligent Life in the Universe, as the
spring installment in Theatre Columbus
State's year-long comedy series.
As Tomlin's long-time collaborator,
playwright Jane Wagner received a Special
Award for Search from the New York
Drama Critics’ Circle and a New York Drama
Desk Award, as well as an Emmy nomination
for the 1993 television production of the
play.
Frank A. Barnhart is directing this
side-splitting hit, with a cast that
includes Tyler Baker, Tony Banks, Chrissy
Booth, Valerie Carroll, Ben Fox, Chunk Funk,
Brooklyn Hairston, Sara Hurwitz, Christ
Mitchell, Molly Osman, and Talon Simpson.
The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life
in the Universe will be presented in Nestor Hall
Auditorium on
Wednesday, May 20, at 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 21, at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Friday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 23, at 8:00 p.m.
All performances are free, and open to the
public.
