announced funding for five projects organized
by Communication Skills faculty.
Columbus State Writers Conference - $7,500

CSCC/Whitehall Schools: Partnership for Success - $7,004

Visiting Author Program - $4,000
Project Coordinators: Clay Cormany & Karen D'Arbanville
These five were among 13 projects chosen (from 46 submissions) by the
Mini-Grant Selection Committee. The committee had a $75,000 budget for 2008, and
based their selections on a variety of criteria including impact on students and
benefits to the community.
