
Visiting Authors Workshop presents
Lee Martin on the "Art of Urgency"
Ohio State's Director of Creative Writing will
speak to the community on "If It Doesn't
Matter to the Writer: The Art of Urgency in
Creative Writing" during a session Saturday,
October 6.
Martin is the author of several fiction and
nonfiction works, including his short story
collection The Least You Need to Know,
the memoirs From Our House and
Turning Bones, and the novels
Quakertown and The Bright Forever,
which was a Pulitzer finalist.
The workshop begins at 2:00 p.m. in the lower
level of Nestor Hall. It is free and open to
the public.
The Visiting Authors Workshop series is funded
by a grant from the Columbus State Development
Foundation.
