Author Gretchen Hirsch discusses "Time
Management for Real Writers"
The Visiting Authors Workshop series presents
noted (and prolific) non-fiction author
Gretchen Hirsch speaking on the topic "But
There's Never Any Time to Write: Time
Management for Real Writers." The workshop
is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, March
29, from 2:30 to 4:00 on the ground floor
seminar room area of Nestor Hall.
Hirsch, president of Midwest Book Doctors,
also serves in the Office of University
Communications at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Her skill in the arts of writing and time
management is demonstrated by her
productivity. In the months between November
2006 and September 2007, she had three books
published:
Talking Your Way to the Top: Business English that
Works
A Love for Learning: Motivation and the Gifted Child
(with coauthor Carol Strip Whitney,
Ph.D.)
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Difficult
Conversations
The workshop is free. Columbus State
students, staff and faculty, as well as all
interested writers from the community, are
cordially invited to attend.
Refreshments will be served, because writers
love to eat.
The Visiting Authors Workshop series is funded
by a grant from the Columbus State Development
Foundation.
