Poet Charlene Fix set for the January session of the Visiting Authors Workshop

"Words, Images, and Other Matters: Writing Poetry" will be the topic of Fix's presentation to our local community of authors Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2:00 to 4:30, in Nestor Hall's lower level seminar area.

This award-winning poet is an Associate Professor of Liberal Arts at the Columbus College of Art and Design , and an active teacher and reader in the central Ohio poetry circuit.  She will be the third presenter of this season's Visiting Authors workshop series.

The workshop is free.  Columbus State students, staff and faculty, as well as all interested writers from the community, are cordially invited to attend.  Refreshments will be served, because writers love to eat.

The Visiting Authors Workshop series is funded by a grant from the Columbus State Development Foundation.
