2007-2008 Visiting Authors Workshops

Professor Lee Martin was the first presenter for the 2007-2008 season of the Visiting Authors Writing Workshops, speaking on "If It Doesn't Matter to the Writer: The Art of Urgency in Creative Writing" 

A full schedule of other Saturday workshops has been released for the rest of the year.

February 4   Tony Littlefield and Scott Woods   "Black Mountain: A Search for Family" and Poetry Reading and Discussion
March 29   Gretchen Hirsch   "But There's Never Any Time to Write: Time Management for Real Writers"

Clay Cormany and Karen D'Arbanville are project coordinators for the ongoing Visiting Authors Workshops. The workshops are free and open to faculty, staff, advanced students, and community writers.

The series is supported by a grant from the Columbus State Development Foundation.
