General Room Use information
- Diversity Services will provide general oversight and monitoring of the Meditation Room with assistance from Public Safety.
- All students and employees who use this space have a shared responsibility with the college in ensuring the safety and security of this designated space. The meditation room at Columbus State Community College is meant for reflection and calm. It is non-sectarian and can be used by up to 25 people at a time. There is minimal seating and ample quiet, conducive for meditation and decompression.
- The room is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment for group use. Extended room availability beyond 6 p.m. is dependent upon staffing availability of Diversity Services and the Public Safety Department.
- Reservations to use the meditation room can be made with Diversity Services by calling (614) 287-2861 or by e-mailing email@example.com. It is highly suggested that reservations be made any given Friday before the following week for optimal availability and use.
