Columbus State Community College offers a wide variety of courses at convenient times throughout the year to aid in the development of our community. Keeping with that theme The Department of College Recreation and Wellness has open gym/recreation hours, intramurals, and a fitness center. We also offer free fitness classes to all faculty, staff, and students of Columbus State. We encourage the use of our facilities and classes to help promote a healthier lifestyle. A current CSCC ID is required for all activities.

The Department of College Recreation and Wellness strives to provide specialized health and fitness information to the students and employees of CSCC. If you would like one of our specialists to speak with your class or department, please fill out the form on the Conditioning Center link to the right and email it to cscc_crw@cscc.edu. There are a variety of topics to choose from ranging from what is offered on campus to help your students or employees be more physically active to nutrition information and beyond!

Wellness Classes

We offer free Wellness classes to Columbus State students, faculty and staff! Offerings include:

  • Self-Defense
  • H.I.I.T Training
  • Yoga
  • Bootcamp
  • Total Body Conditioning

And check back for special events such as Walk n' Learns and blood drives!

Wellness Classes and Intramurals

Fitness Centers

Columbus State's fitness center and locker rooms are located in the basement of Delaware Hall (DE). The center is free to current CSCC employees and students. Features include free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines, mats and other exercise equipment.

Personal Training

The Recreation and Wellness Conditioning Center provides Columbus State students, employees, and the Columbus community with low-cost personal training.
