The Ohio Benefit Bank

Ohio Benefit Bank (self serve)

  • The Ohio Benefit Bank (OBB™) is a program of the Ohio Association of Foodbanks.
  • The Ohio Benefit Bank™ is designed to make it simpler for Ohioans to connect with programs and resources that can make those decisions a little bit easier. From any computer with Internet access, you can use the online service to complete applications for programs like food assistance, child care assistance, health coverage, and much more.

Ohio Benefit Bank on-campus support for Columbus State students:

  • Peer Advocates are student employees in Student Advocacy who connect students to college and community resources to help them address barriers and support their success. Peer Advocates are certified as Ohio Benefits Bank Counselors, which means they can assist students with submitting an Ohio Benefit Bank application.
  • Students in need of Ohio Benefit Bank assistance can meet with a Peer Advocate during office hours.  Appointments are recommended but walk-in services may be available.  To schedule an appointment with a Peer Advocate, email or call (614) 287-5192.
