The Path to Ohio State
Succeed at Columbus State and get a guaranteed transfer to Ohio State
Ohio State President Gordon Gee called Columbus State the "front door to Ohio State." The Future Scientists of Ohio program opens that door even wider.
Guaranteed Transfer: Students who go through the Future Scientists program and graduate with an Associate of Science degree are guaranteed admission to Ohio State as a junior. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to qualify.
Money for College: With the help of a grant, Ohio State has a number of partial scholarships for Future Scientists of Ohio students who maintain a 3.0 GPA. If you graduate from CSCC with a 3.0 GPA, you may be eligible to apply for the Future Scientists of Ohio scholarship at Ohio State.
Brush up Your Skills: Ohio State is tightening its admissions criteria, and many students are being closed out of that prestigious research institution. Many students take advantage of Columbus State's small class sizes and individualized instruction to develop the skills they need to compete as a Buckeye. The Academic Support in the Future Scientists program helps even further.
