We offer an Associate of Applied Science Degree preparing students for work in the field of social and human services.
Associate Degree programs generally take two years to complete, and qualify graduates for employment immediately upon graduation and also can be transferred toward a bachelor degree. This degree prepares you to become a state-registered Social Work Assistant, helping clients and working closely with treatment professionals, program and case managers, social workers, other clinicians and educators. This degree also meets the degree requirement to become a licensed chemical dependency counselor.
This degree includes 420 hours of hands-on internships, working with clients at one of our 100+ partner agencies. Our graduates work in a diverse settings.
The Social & Human Services program is working to develop transfer agreements with many different colleges throughout central Ohio that will allow you to apply your associate degree toward a bachelor's degree. Current information is available in the Transfer office of CSCC.
