Nursing Application

The Autumn 2017, Spring 2018 & Autumn 2018 classes are now full. 

The Autumn 2018 Blended letters have been sent and the Autumn 2018 Traditional letters will be sent SOON

THE APPLICATION FOR THE BLENDED TRACK AND TRADITIONAL TRACK IS CLOSED AND WILL REOPEN ON MONDAY JUNE 26TH AT 9:00AM

ONCE OPEN, THE APPLICATION PROCESS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE SPRING 2019 CLASS IS FULL

 All admission criteria must be complete to submit an application

N Credit or NURC 1001:  must be posted on your transcript prior to application and will be strictly enforced

GPA Criteria Prioritization:

1. Columbus State GPA will be evaluated first

2. If there is no Columbus State GPA at the time of application, the GPA from the most recent college-level experience will be evaluated

3. If there is no college-level experience, high school completion GPA will be evaluated

4. If the applicant has not graduated high school at time of application, ACT score will be evaluated

PN to RN Application

PN to RN Change in Application Process!!

Due to changes in the technological systems on campus, the PN to RN application will be in paper format. The application period opens on August 3rd at 9:00am and closes on August 7th at noon. Please see below for more information. Applications must be turned in to the Nursing office in Union 508. The application can be found below.

PN to RN Application

There is a limited number of seats available for the Autumn 2017 start date. The admission process will be based on a competitive process. The competitive entry criteria will be based on GPA and HESI A2 scores. Please note, you will need to ensure you have all college level transcripts on file at Columbus State Community College prior to application submission. In addition, you are required to submit a copy of your HESI A2 scores with the application.

PLEASE NOTE: If you applied during the May 2017 application period and met requirements but were denied entry due to space, your application will carry over to the August 3rd application period and you will not need to reapply.  The competitive entry will be recalculated based on any changes in GPA since the last application period.
